Saying Good-bye :(
Saying good-bye is never easy. But watching your kids say good-bye is even harder. Hanna was in remission of Lupus...having good days and bad days. Then we found she had a cancer tumor. So we had a weekend to spend loving her and making her comfortable. She will be so missed! 
Asperger's Syndrome!
Never thought I would be so happy to have a NEW diagnosis! And although Asperger's falls under the Austism Spectrum - the prognosis is so much better! Even better than the "Mild Autism" diagnosis we recieved a month ago! Her chances increase of growing up, having a career, HAVING A FAMILY! She'll just have a few quirks! But don't we all? Thanks to all of you for your support in this journey!
New Addition
We are so excited about our new addition! Meet "Beyleigh!" She is a Portuguese Water Dog from the Diamante PWDs in KY...Chris and the boys picked her up in September! She has made herself right at home and right into our hearts!
THE BOIZ
Summer is here! Both boiz finished school with top academics in their class, and Damien received the President's Award for honor roll/FCAT scores! So proud of both their accomplishments! Alden just finished t-ball - what a long season THAT was!!! And Damien is looking forward to basketball camps over the summer months!
Fall 2007 brings a whole new world to the Westfall's...Alden and Stella will be at CSES without their big brother...yep, its off to middle school for Damien! Calgon - take me away!
My Stella
Stella turned 4 in July!!! Where has the time gone? We DID end up having her tested in April 2006 through the school system...OT, Psychologist, and Speech Path., and she qualified for Pre-K in the Fall. Developmentally delayed by about two years, and with the Sensory Processing issues under SOME control, they felt she would benefit by starting pre-k in May!!! And I am so proud to say that she did wonderful! Academically she is advanced, actually trying to teach the class herself on two occasions!!!! We all have high hopes for her....even mainstreaming by kindergarden!!! YEAH!
